Welcome to Toddler Must-Haves – June edition. Every month I will share with you all a roundup of my son’s favorite products and/or services. The categories will vary from month to month since my toddler changes his mind quite often lol but he is very vocal and voices his opinion on everything. Must-Haves Body

Walgreens Baby Eczema Cream

Christopher suffers from Eczema. It’s something that he has been dealing with since the day he was born. I  have tried many expensive lotions and creams that help treat it but I have been on the search for a more affordable option. I then came across this Walgreens brand eczema cream and the price alone sucked me in. It was about half the cost of other creams out there. Christopher has been using it since the 6th of this month and it works just as well as the other, more expensive, brands out there. I am now able to soothe his dry & itchy skin without breaking the bank. The consistency is also better for applying therefore I don’t waste so much time struggling for him to sit still while I rub it in.

Parent’s Choice Overnight Diapers

Diapers are essential in Toddler land, for me at least. I am very blessed that my son has slept thru the night since he was 3 months old. However, that meant I had to buy nighttime diapers to make sure he was comfortable all night. I tried several brands and styles, most didn’t manage to keep him dry throughout the night. Finally, I narrowed it down to 2 different brands that work really well for overnight protection. Parent’s Choice is the my favorite because they are the cheaper option and provide excellent coverage just like the more expensive option.

Huggies OverNites Diapers

Huggies and Christopher do not mix. So why are they on his must-haves list? Well their OverNite diapers are a different story compared to everyday diapers. These were my original go-to before I discovered the cheaper option above. They provide excellent protection for a great nights rest.

Must-Haves Learning & Development

Brush, Brush, Brush! Board book

My son has always brushed his teeth twice a day but not by choice. I would brush his teeth for him but he didn’t quite comprehended what or why I was doing it. I did some research on Pinterest and was inspired by a few other Mommy Bloggers. They suggested that you try making it fun for them. That way they look forward to doing it themselves. That’s where this book comes in handy. If you are struggling with your child wanting to brush their own teeth, then this book needs to be on your must-haves list! The graphics are very appealing to children and it illustrates just how fun brushing your teeth can be. When reading this book I always have Christopher’s toothbrush and toothpaste handy so that we can interactively follow along. Safe to say it worked. Everyday right before his shower (yes my 2 y/o prefers showers) he starts saying “teeth!teeth!” That translates to “Come on mom hand me my toothbrush!”

Creating a Toddler must-haves list was harder than I thought there are so many products that I test out when it comes to him. I like trying new things and seeing what works best. Do you use any of the products mentioned above?
